What interlock, stretch, and mesh mean for your jersey.

Understand the fabric features in a performance jersey and the questions to ask before approving your order.

Look at the complete construction

A jersey’s feel comes from more than its fiber name. The knit, fabric weight, stretch, panel layout, and seams all affect the finished garment. When comparing options, ask for the specification of the style you are actually ordering rather than assuming every polyester jersey is the same.

Interlock polyester

Veloce’s performance jersey range includes interlock polyester options. Discuss the intended sport, fit, and decoration so the team can identify the appropriate material for your order. A fabric swatch or sample garment is a useful way to assess the feel and finish before approving a large quantity.

2-way stretch and moisture management

Some Veloce performance jerseys offer 2-way stretch and moisture-management features. Confirm which construction is included in the quote and how the stretch direction relates to the garment’s fit. These features should be considered alongside the cut and your athletes’ movement requirements.

Mesh ventilation

Mesh panels can be incorporated into a jersey design where ventilation is wanted. Review the panel placement on the mockup and check how it interacts with lettering, graphics, and seams. Ask whether the proposed fabric and panels are appropriate for your chosen sport.

Keep the approved specification

Save the fabric, fit, artwork, and care details with your order record. That gives your program a useful reference when discussing a later reorder or comparing another style. Follow the care label supplied with the finished garment.
